
“Friends-Giving” is a fun and friendly charitable golf and tennis event being held Saturday, December 7th at The Meadows Country Club. Proceeds of the event will be donated to the Gulf Coast Community Foundation and Manatee Community Foundation. Funds raised will help residents throughout Sarasota and Manatee County communities that have been negatively impacted by Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane’s Helene and Milton.
How can you help?
Registering to play in either the Golf or Tennis event will raise funds, whose proceeds will be shared equally to these community-focused organizations.
You can also choose to donate directly to the total amount raised.
The Golf Event will be a 4-person scramble teeing off at 830am, with prizes awarded for 1st,2nd and 3rd place.
The Tennis Event will be an “Up and Down the River” Round-Robin consisting of doubles and mixed-doubles starting at 930am, and prizes awarded to the top finishers.
Lunch, Awards and Entertainment will be held at the conclusion of play.
